I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in 2016 with a first class honours in Jewellery & Metal Design. I wanted to combine my craft skills with design thinking, so I went on to study MSc Product Design and graduated with distinction in October 2017.
At some point in my fifth year at DJCAD I realised I must have squatters rights, and promptly applied for PhD study. I’m glad to say that I’m still here, using my design training to become a researcher.
This blog will (hopefully) be an exciting miscellany of my thought process, making and research starting right here, at the fuzzy front end of year one.
